Save the places that matter
Home, School, Work, grandma’s house, soccer practice — add any place from the map and give it a name. Each place has a radius you can set, shown in feet, so a big campus and a small house both work.
The Free plan includes 3 saved places per circle; Plus and Pro have no limit.
A notice when someone arrives or leaves
When someone in your circle gets to a saved place, the rest of the family gets a notification: “Emma arrived at School”. Leaving works the same way. Tap the notification and FamTrip3 opens on the map, right where it happened.
Notices are spaced out so a phone sitting on the edge of a place doesn’t flood you: one arrival and one departure per place every few minutes, at most.
The real time, even without signal
If someone arrives somewhere without signal, FamTrip3 keeps the trip on the phone and uploads it when the signal comes back. The arrival shows the time it really happened, not the time the phone reconnected. Very old arrivals go to the activity log without buzzing anyone’s phone.
A log of the day
The Activity tab shows who got where and when, today and the days before: arrivals, departures and plans shared with the family.
Respectful by design
People in private mode don’t trigger notices, and kids only get notices about the people they’re allowed to see. Read about adults and kids and privacy controls.
