Where everyone is, right now
Open FamTrip3 and you see your family on one map: who’s home, who’s at school, who’s at work and who’s on the road. Each person shows up with their photo, so you can tell at a glance who is where. Pins move smoothly as people move, so you can watch a drive happen instead of waiting for the next refresh.
Under the map you get the same information as a list: where each person is, for how long, and how much battery their phone has left. When someone is driving, you see their speed in miles per hour.
Arrival and departure notices
Save the places your family goes every day — Home, School, Work, grandma’s house — and FamTrip3 sends a notification when someone gets there or leaves. “Emma arrived at School” shows up on your lock screen, so you don’t have to text “are you there yet?”.
Arrivals are checked against the whole trip, not just the last position, and FamTrip3 ignores locations that are physically impossible (like a phone that jumps 1,000 miles in a minute). That keeps false alerts out of your family’s day.
Every trip of the day, street by street
Tap anyone to see their day: each trip with the time it started, the miles and how long it took, drawn street by street on the map. If someone drove through a dead zone without signal, the trip uploads as soon as their phone is back online, so the day stays complete.
How many days of trips you keep depends on your plan: 2 days on Free, 30 on Plus and 90 on Pro. Location history can be turned off separately from location sharing.
Built so nobody is tracked without knowing
- Everyone in a circle sees who else is in it. There are no hidden members.
- Adults can go private in a circle with one switch, and the circle sees that they went private. Kids can’t: their parents manage their sharing.
- Only people in your circles can see your location. Nobody else, ever.
